Providing Human-Centric Leadership Training and Mentorship for Future Leaders in Animal Research Programs.

For ARC professionals who see themselves as emerging leaders and or who are looking to enhance their leadership knowledge within the field of Animal Research Compliance.

The course is designed to help learners shift from individualistic task execution to human-centric leader over a 6 week period of time. The program is a blend of Asynchronous learning wherein participants complete the majority of the work in a weekly self-paced environment through online modules. There is a cohort discussion board in the Circle Community where the lead facilitator and participants will discuss module material as a group throughout the program.

I’m Eugene Matullo and I’ll be your guide…

Very early in my career, I was washing cages and scraping monkey pans. Now, I’m the founder of EM3 and strive to support those in animal research programs by providing specialized services for the broader community.

For over a decade, I’ve witnessed animal research programs from all kinds of perspectives. It’s become increasingly clear that our profession was founded from a place of good intentions, and that we need a giant leap to lead it into its next iteration. One with vision, compassion, mutual respect, honesty, and integrity.

I have a master’s in Organizational Leadership and Innovation and extensive experience leading research compliance programs at top-tier research institutions. I love all things leadership and cannot wait to support you on your leadership journey.

  1. Can you clarify the structure of the Emerging Leaders program?

    • Yes! The program includes six online learning modules, includes activities, case studies, and engaging discussion via the Circle Community discussion board.

  2. How much time do you think I would need to dedicate to the modules each week in the ARC-EL Program?

    • This will likely involve 2-3 hours of time per week.

  3. Do you have a payment plan for your program?

    • At the current moment, payment is a one time purchase. What I will say is that this is considered PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT! Your first approach to paying should be to ask your Organization/Institution if they would support this program for you as P.D..

  4. Can you share more about the modules and what is in them.

    • Yes! I have a more detailed document that breaks down each module a bit further- please email me directly if you would like to see it.

  5. This program sounds great, but do you offer 1:1 Leadership Mentorship?

    • Yes! I do take on a limited number of 1:1 clients. If you are interested in working 1:1, please send me an email.

  6. Do you offer an institutional rate if I want more than one team member to go through the Emerging Leader program?

    • Yes there will be an institutional rate that scales with the number of participants you will want enrolled. The space will be limited for this program so please join the waitlist as early as possible.
