Session 1 - Introduction and Impactful Training in ANimal research programs

Eugene introduces the ARC SS and provides some data that shows growth over the last three years. Further he discusses the series values and shares about the ARC Summit. His presentation focus is on exploring Impactful Training in Animal Research Programs where he considers human behavior and how individuals learn and retain data. Post the presentation, the community discusses training approaches that were successful for them.
Session 2 - March 28 - Change Management and STrategic Use of Subcommittees

In this session, Elaine discussed key points to change management and dives into the strategic use of subcommittees. Elaine references many ways in which IACUC Administrators can use subcommittees, one of these being a tool to navigate change effectively. At the end of the presentation, the community discusses openly.
Session 3 - April 25, 2024 - Intersection of IACUC and IBC
Presenter: Nick Van De Velde - St. Jude Children’s Research Hopsital
Summary - In this session, Nick breaks down the differences between the IACUC and IBC through exploring the regulatory framework that exists. Further, Nick shares lived experience which reinforces the importance of communication when bridging the gap between the two committees.

Presenters - Kelsey Miller & Rebecca Kavanaugh
Summary - In this presentation, Kelsey and Rebecca explore the role of the IACUC Administrator
Session5 -NC and AWI Process
Presenter - Hannah Freundlich - Mass Eye and Ear
Summary - In this presentation, Hannah shares a number of case studies related to non compliance and discusses each one with the audience for an engaging session.
Session 6 - AAALACi Site Visit Prep and Addressing SFIs
Presenters - Madeline Budda - OK State UHSC
Summary - In this presentation, Dr. Budda (Madeline) discusses helpful tips to prepare for an AAALACi Site Visit and further discusses SFIs. Madeline engages with the audience quite a bit for a nice conversation :)

Session 7 - CPIA Certification - A Discussion on its importance (or Not)

Summary - In this presentation, Isabella discusses how the CPIA Certificate came to fruition and engages the audience with polls around the CPIA Certificate. The polls trigger some great discussion in this one!
